There are several steps to getting your Hyperliquid account set up & funded using a Tangem wallet. The following guide will walk you through the process, including:

• Completing our crypto security recommendations
• Setting up your Tangem wallet
• Setting up & funding your Coinbase account
• Funding your Tangem wallet with USDC & ETH on the Arbitrum network
• Connecting your Tangem to Hyperliquid
• Funding your Hyperliquid account with USDC
• Connecting your Hyperliquid account to FinRev via API

If you are using Hyperliquid for trading & NOT to connect to FinRev, please skip 7.

Pre-Setup Checklist

It is important that you understand & follow all instructions in the pre-setup checklist before starting to set up your FinRev account. Please read the following checklist carefully, and complete any action steps necessary.

1. Various software and settings on your device (particularly antivirus software, privacy applications & browser based cryptocurrency wallets) can clash with the Hyperliquid API keys, and it may require several trouble-shooting attempts to solve the issue and get you connected to FinRev. It's best practice to create a new Chrome profile before proceeding with these steps by following our guide 'How to create a new Chrome Profile' to decrease the chances of any errors.

   
   

2. If you are in the US or UK, you need to set up & activate a VPN with the location set to 'Sydney, Australia' before logging onto the Hyperliquid website.

   
   

   This setup must be performed on a desktop device, with use of your phone to complete the Tangem steps. Hyperliquid may have a separate mobile and iPad app, however the mobile integration between the two apps is not fully functional.

Once you have read & understood the above steps and activated a VPN (if required), you are ready to commence your account setup.
