Please ensure that you have followed the previous steps in our master guide for connecting FinRev with Hyperliquid before completing this step.


HL02 | TG - How to connect Hyperliquid to FinRev using Tangem - Overview


Important Note for US & UK users: Please ensure you have activated your VPN & set the location to Sydney, Australia prior to logging onto the Hyperliquid website.



Adding USDC (Arbitrum) To Your Tangem Wallet


  1. Open the Tangem app on your phone
  2. Click on the 3 dots in the top right of your screen

  1. Click to open your Tangem wallet

  1. Select 'Manage Tokens'


  1. Search for 'USDC'
  2. Click on 'USDC'

  1. Scroll down and toggle the 'Arbitrum One' network to 'On'

Navigate back to the 'Portfolio' screen

Adding ETH (Arbitrum) To Your Tangem Wallet


  1. If you don’t already have ETH on Arbitrum One listed, use the search bar at the bottom of the screen to search for “ETH”:


[NOTE: Bitcoin and Ethereum are both preloaded into the Tangem Portfolio when you set it up, so you might wonder why you have to search “Ethereum” here instead of just tapping on it in the list. The answer is that everything in the portfolio list is network specific, and the pre-populated ETH is specifically on the Ethereum network. So tapping on it will just bring that up. To find ETH on other networks you have to search.]


  1. Tap on 'Ethereum' in the search results:


  1. Then tap on the “+ Add” button to add ETH on a new network:


  1. Toggle on the “ARBITRUM ONE MAIN L2” network.
  2. Click “Continue” button at the bottom of the page


It should now appear in your portfolio on the home screen:


Linking Your Wallet to Hyperliquid


  1. Go to https://app.hyperliquid.xyz/trade
  2. Click on “Connect”

  1. Choose “WalletConnect” from the options shown


That will bring up the WalletConnect dialog box. Leave that on your screen for the moment.

  1. Open your Tangem app on your phone
  2. Make sure you’re on the portfolio screen
  3. Click on the 3 dots in the top right corner

  1. Choose “WalletConnect” at the top of the screen

  1. Assuming your Tangem wallet isn’t currently connected to anything else, you should see a screen like the one below (if you have it connected to something else, you should see that listed here).
  2. To add Hyperliquid, tap the “+” at the top right of the screen


That will activate your phone’s camera.


  1. Point at the computer screen to scan the WalletConnect QR code in the dialog box on Hyperliquid.
  2. That will bring up the following notification. Tap “Start”

  1. If this is your first time connecting then you will need to tap your Tangem card to the back of your phone to approve it

Note: As a Tangem user you should be familiar with this process, as you would’ve had to do it multiple times during the setup process!):


  1. Once that is done, you should see the following, confirming the connection to Hyperliquid


  1. Back on Hyperliquid itself, you should now see your wallet connected, which means that your account has been created and is ready to go
