How To Transfer USDC From Coinbase To a Metamask Wallet On The Arbitrum One Network


The following guide will show you how to transfer funds from a cryptocurrency exchange to your Metamask wallet on the Arbitrum (ARB) network.


Note: This guide assumes that you already have USDC (USD Coin) on a Cryptocurrency exchange. If you do not, please purchase USDC (USD Coin) on your Crypto exchange using one of the guides below:

Importing USDC Into Your Metamask


  1. Click on the Metamask extension on your browser to open your wallet.

  1. Click on the 'Ethereum' icon in the top left of the screen.

  1. Click on 'Arbitrum One'.

  1. Click the '+' option

  1. Search for USDC
  2. Click on 'USDC (USD Coin)'
  3. Click on 'Next'

  1. Click on 'Import tokens'

Sending USDC To Your Metamask


Once you've logged into your Coinbase account, please complete the steps below.


  1. Click on 'Send Crypto'

  1. Click on 'Send'

  1. Select 'USDC'
  2. Click the back button

  1. Ensure you're on the Arbitrum Network
  2. Click on 'Receive'


  1. Click on 'Copy address'

  1. Select the amount of USDC you'd like to send
  2. Click on 'To'

  1. Click 'Got It'

  1. Scroll down and click on 'Arbitrum'

  1. Check the box to confirm
  2. Click on 'Yes, it's supported'

  1. Click on your wallet address to confirm

  1. Click on 'Preview Send'

  1. Click 'Send Now'

  1. Complete any required verification

  1. Click 'Done'

  1. Please allow up to 15 minutes for the transfer to complete
  2. Open your Metamask browser extension
  3. Ensure you're on the Arbitrum Network
  4. You should now see the updated USDC balance reflected in your wallet
