Bybit Account & Sub-Account Setup

The following guide will walk you through the steps of creating a Bybit account, securing your Bybit account as well as creating & securing a subaccount. The subaccount can be connected to FinRev or used for other trading purposes. At the time of writing this guide you can create multiple subaccounts under your main Bybit account.

Note: If you already have a Bybit account, you can skip directly to the 'Creating a Subaccount' step.

1. Creating a Bybit Account

1. Go to www.bybit.com and click on 'sign up'.

2. Enter your information and follow the prompts

3. Log into your Bybit account

2. Securing Your Bybit Account

1. After logging into your Bybit account, hover your mouse over the profile icon in the top right.
2. Click on 'Account & Security'

3. Click on 'Settings' next to 'Google 2 Factor Authentication'.

4. Enter the email code you've received in your email inbox and click on 'Confirm'

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan the QR code with the Google Authenticator app
6. Once complete, enter your 2FA code from your phone into the box on screen
7. Click on 'Confirm'

3. Creating a Subaccount

1. Hover your mouse over the profile icon in the top right of the screen and click on 'subaccount'

2. Click on 'Create Subaccount'

3. Select 'Standard Subaccount'

4. Enter a username for your subaccount
5. Select 'Unified Trading Account'.
6. Click on 'Confirm'

7. You should now see the screen shown below. From here, click on 'Switch' for the subaccount you've just created.

4. Securing Your Subaccount

1. After 'switching' into the new Bybit subaccount you've just created, hover your mouse over the profile icon in the top right.
2. Click on 'Account & Security'

3. Click on 'Settings' next to 'Google 2 Factor Authentication'.

4. Enter the email code you've received in your email inbox
5. Enter the 2FA code for your main Bybit account
6. Click on 'Next Step'

7. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan the QR code with the Google Authenticator app
8. Once complete, enter your 2FA code for your FinRev subaccount from your phone into the box on screen
9. Click on 'Confirm'
