How to Connect Your Metamask Wallet to dYdX (V3)

The following guide will walk you through the process of connecting your Metamask wallet to the Decentralised Exchanged (DEX) dYdX.


  1. Visit https://dydx.exchange
  2. Click on 'V3'. if you do not click on V3, your connection to FinRev WILL NOT work.

  1. Click on 'Connect Wallet'

  1. Click on 'Get Started'

  1. Click on 'Metamask'

  1. Enter your password
  2. Click on 'Unlock'

  1. Click on 'Next'

  1. Click on 'Connect'

Note: You may receive an error message letting you know that you are on the wrong network. If you do not receive the following error, skip to step 10.

  • Click on the Metamask icon in your browser

  • Click on the dropdown menu in the top left of the Metamask

  • Click on 'Ethereum Mainnet'

  • You should now see the Ethereum logo in the tip left of your Metamask

  1. Make sure 'Remember Me' is turned on

Important: if you do not turn 'Remember Me' on, you will not be able to connect your API to FinRev.


  1. Click on 'Send Requests'

  1. Click on 'Sign'

Your Metamask wallet is now connected to DyDx.
