How To Fund Your dYdX Account (V3)


Please ensure that you have followed the previous steps in our master guide for connecting FinRev with dYdX before completing this step.


  1. While on the 'trade.dydx.exchange V3' website, click on 'Deposit'

  1. Select 'USD Coin (USDC)'
  2. Enter the amount of USDC you wish to deposit

Note: You will need some Ethereum left in your wallet to pay gas fees. It's best to leave approximately $100 - $200 of your total balance in your Metamask wallet to ensure easy deposits/withdrawals and trading.

  1. Click 'Confirm Deposit'

Note: If the blue button says 'Enable USDC, click that button'.

  1. Click 'Next'.

Note: The following spending cap request may not appear. If it does not, you can continue with the following steps.

  1. Click 'Approve'

  1. Click 'Confirm Deposit' again

  1. You will need to wait for 14 confirmations on the blockchain. This can take several minutes, so please be patient and allow this to complete.

  1. Once the deposit is finished, you will see a confirmation message

  1. Your dYdX exchange account is now funded.
