How to set up and fund your CoinSpot account


Coinbase is both a fiat and cryptocurrency exchange based in Australia. You can use it to move funds from your bank account or debit card to Coinspot, and also purchase cryptocurrency with your fiat deposits.


Once your funds are in Coinspot you can use them for spot trading, send them to another exchange, or use them to fund your FinRev account.


The following guide will walk you through the steps to set up & fund your Coinspot account.



Setting Up Your Coinspot Account


  1. Go to www.coinspot.com.au


  2. Click on 'register'

  1. Fill in your information and click on 'Create Account'

  1. Click on 'Complete Verification'


  1. Check your email inbox for an email from Coinspot. If you have not received an email, click on 'Re-Send Verification Email'

Note: The email will look like the one below


  1. Click on 'Confirm Email' in the email that you received

  1. Click on 'Complete Verification'



  1. Fill out your personal information

  1. Complete your Identity Verification

Note: There may be a delay while your documents are verified by the security team. You will need to wait for your documents to be verified before you can deposit fiat into your account.


Depositing Fiat Into Your Coinspot Account


  1. Once your identity documents have been verified, navigate to the dashboard and click 'Deposit Funds'


  1. Select your preferred payment method, and follow the prompts

Converting Your Fiat Currency To USDT


Once your fiat currency deposit has appeared in your Coinspot account you can proceed with the following steps.


  1. Click on 'Wallets'

  1. Search for 'USDT'
  2. Click on 'Open USDT Wallet'

  1. Click on 'Buy'

  1. Enter the amount of AUD you'd like to use to purchase USDT
  2. Click on 'Buy'

  1. Click on 'Confirm Buy'

  1. You should now see your USDT balance in your USDT wallet
