CBW01 - How To Create a CoinBase Wallet Account
The following guide will walk you through the process of creating & securing a Coinbase Wallet address.

Creating Your CoinBase Wallet
- Head over to https://www.coinbase.com/en-gb/wallet/downloads and click 'Download For Chrome'
- Click 'Add to Brave/Chrome'
- Click on 'Add Extension'
- Click on the puzzle piece in your browser toolbar in the rop right corner
- Click 'Pin' next to the Coinbase wallet extension
- Click on the Coinbase Wallet extension from the top right of your toolbar
- Click on 'Create New Wallet'
- Store your recovery phrase in a safe place
- Check the box to confirm you understand
- Click on 'Continue'
Important Note: Failure to record this recovery phrase accurately may result in you being unable to regain access to your wallet and could result in a loss of your funds.
- Verify your recovery phrase
- Click 'Submit'
- Enter & confirm a secure password
- Agree to the terms
- Click 'Submit'
Important: Record your password in a safe place. Failure to do so may result in you losing access to your funds.
- Click 'I'll do it later'
- Your wallet has now been created
Securing Your CoinBase Wallet
- Click on the Coinbase Wallet browser extension in the top right of your browser toolbar
- Click on 'Settings'
- Click on 'Address 1'
- Click on 'Show Private Key'
- Enter your password
- Check the box to confirm
- Click on 'Continue'
- Click 'Copy'
- Record your Private Key in a safe place
- Click 'Done'
- Important: Failure to record your Private Keys in a safe place may result in you losing access to your funds.
- Click on the Coinbase Wallet browser extension in the top right of your browser toolbar again.
- Click on 'Settings'
- Click on 'Address 1'
- Click 'Export Public Addresses'
- Click 'Copy'
- Important: Failure to record your Public Addresses in a safe place may result in you losing access to your funds.
