How to Upgrade Your Bybit Account To a Unified Trading Account (UTA)


The following guide will walk you through the steps to upgrade your current Bybit 'Standard Subaccount' to a 'Unified Trading Account' (UTA), and reconnect it to the FinRev platform.


Please ensure that you carefully follow all steps in the guide as failure to complete this guide may result in your account's connection not being completed.


Once completed, the upgrade steps may take up to 48 hours to take effect - please allow your account 48 hours to re-commence normal trading.

Read First (Important): Please do not upgrade your account between 10pm and 6am (UTC), as this will cause an error with your FinRev connection that may require further troubleshooting and delays in your account re-commencing trading.



Checking For Open Orders


  1. Log into your Bybit account that is connected to FinRev/that you wish to connect to FinRev. You can hover your mouse over the profile icon in the top right of the screen to reveal the menu. Use the 'Account Switch' button to switch to the subaccount that is connected to FinRev.

  1. Hover your mouse over 'Trade'
  2. Hover your mouse over 'Futures'
  3. Ensure 'USDT' is selected
  4. Click on 'ETHUSDT'

  1. Scroll down until you see the image attached below. Click 'Current Orders'. If there are any current orders you must cancel every one of them before proceeding. If there are no current orders, you can proceed to the next stage of the upgrade process.


Upgrading Your Bybit Account


  1. Once you have close all current orders, click on the 'Upgrade' button

  1. Click 'Next'

  1. Click 'Next'

  1. Click 'I Acknowledge'
  2. Click 'Confirm Upgrade'

  1. Click 'Got It'

  1. Wait 5 minutes for the upgrade to complete. You will receive a confirmation email once this has been completed.


  2. Once you've completed the above steps, there is no further action needed. We'll send you an automated email at the next rollover (00:00 UTC) if there are any issues with the upgrade or your account connection.

Note: If you see the screenshot below when trying to upgrade your account, please click 'Schedule Upgrade' and then 'Confirm Schedule' to schedule your account upgrade.
