How To Connect/Reconnect dYdX API With FinRev (V3)

Important: If you have received an email from us alerting you that there is an issue with your dYdX connection, please reach out to [email protected] and DO NOT complete the steps below. You will need to complete a different set of setup steps.

Note: The following steps MUST be done in Google Chrome, and using a brand new Metamask wallet. The steps will not work in other browsers, or with old wallets.

1. Go to dydx.exchange

2. Click on 'V3'. If you do not click on V3, the API connection WILL NOT work.

   

   
   
3. Once your wallet is connected to DYDX, right click anywhere on the DYDX website.
4. Click on 'Inspect' from the menu

5. Click on the 2 arrows icon
6. Click on 'Application'

7. Click on 'Local Storage'
8. Click on 'https://trade.dydx.exchange'

7. Double click on the code next to 'API_KEY_PAIRS'
8. Copy the code (be sure to copy the entire piece of code)

9. Navigate to your FinRev dashboard at https://finrev.trade
10. Click on the profile icon in the top right of the screen
11. Click on 'Manage Account'

12. Click on 'API Credentials'

13. Click on 'Choose Your Exchange'
14. Select 'dYdX'

15. Paste the 'API_KEY_PAIRS' code you copied previously into the 'API Key Pair' box

16. Head back to the dYdX website
17. Double click on the code next to 'STARK_KEY_PAIRS'
18. Copy the code (be sure to copy the entire code)

Note: For an example of what your API keys should look like, please follow the steps in the screenshot below.

19. Open the tab with your FinRev dashboard open
20. Paste the 'STARK_KEY_PAIRS' code you copied previously into the 'Stark Key Pair' box

21. Click 'Save'

Note: For security reasons, your API key information will disappear once it has been saved.
