DY - dYdX Compliance Request Guide
If you have received an email with a link to this troubleshooting guide, it means that dYdX has flagged your account for verification.
This means that they have temporarily disabled your API connection with FinRev, pending you verifying your account.
This could have been caused by accessing your dYdX account without your VPN active & set to Australia, or you may be among a small number of random spot checks dYdX have been conducting.
Please complete the following steps in the order they are written in order to reconnect to FinRev & re-commence trading.
Important Note for US & UK users: Please ensure you have activated your VPN & set the location to Sydney, Australia prior to logging onto the dYdX website.
Step 1 - Compliance Request
Activate your VPN and set the location to Australia
Visit the site: https://dydx.trade and click on ‘Trade Now’
- Click on 'Continue'
- Follow the guide below to connect your Metamask wallet to dYdX (be sure to connect the Metamask wallet address that you previously connected to FinRev)
How to connect your Metamask wallet to dYdX
- If you see the following popup message appear, click on ‘View’ to open the Compliance request. If you do not, please proceed to Step 2 - New Wallet Connection.
- View the Compliance request, then click on ‘Continue.
Select ‘Australia’ as Country of Residence, and select ‘Australia’ again for Trading Location.
- Acknowledge the terms by following the prompts
- Reach send the following email to [email protected]
